Classics, others welcome for parade

SHAMOKIN — Kulpmont Cruise organizer Joe Cesari is helping with the Anthracite Heritage Festival of the Arts parade on Friday, May 26, by encouraging those with classic, antique, muscle or any special vehicles to join the fun.

Cesari said the vehicles will be at the front of the parade, preventing the need for frequent stops and the potential for overheating.

Lineup takes place starting at 5:30 p.m. on Water Street behind BB&T Bank. The parade moves at 6 p.m.

Call Cesari at 570-373-3561 for more information.
