INVITATION FOR BIDS The Borough of Snydertown will receive sealed bids for a Package Sewage Treatment Plant at the office of the Borough until 5:00 P.M., prevailing time on June 5, 2017. Bids will then be opened and publicly read aloud at the regularly scheduled Borough meeting that evening at 7:00 P.M. held in the meeting room of the Syndertown Municipal Complex at the address below. The plant must accommodate at least 26,000 gallons per day and have an aeration chamber, clarifier, sludge holding chamber, chlorine contact chamber, and corrosion prevention. A service walkway is required. The package plant is to be delivered to the existing plant site, but will be set by the Borough on a site excavated by the Borough. The plant must set in an area approximately 40' long x 12" wide and ship in one large section ready for placement. Additional details and required specifications of the Plant are set forth in the Bidding Documents.
