ELYSBURG - Susan and Robert Kerris Jr. of Elysburg, announce the engagement of their son, Robert Kerris III, to Elizabeth Jones, a daughter of Annemieke Wijn, of Bremen, Germany, and the late Gary Jones.
Kerris, a grandson of Robert Kerris, of Elysburg, graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry. He is currently a fourth-year medical student at New York University and is employed as an ensign in the U.S. Navy.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Trinity College with a bachelor's degree in neuroscience. She is a fourth-year medical student at New York University.
The couple reside in New York City. An April 2012 wedding at the New York Botanical Gardens, Bronx, N.Y. is planned.
